With an aging workforce, the HR department had a difficult time recruiting new talent. People outside of Sempra were confused about who Sempra is and what it does. Current employees were proud of the innovation and community commitment but thought the old website fell short of reflecting that inspiration.
A video placed as the hero of their homepage aims to tell their story, removing any confusion before visitors continued on their path to learning more about jobs, news and investment information.
The redesign structured and prioritized content to align with the website audiences and potential pivots to relevant sections. The aesthetic design adopted a clean, minimalist approach to ensure a concise separation and hierarchy of content.
This new website conveys their innovative energy leadership and community involvement. Sempra’s website reflects their brand and values in order to inspire a new generation of talent.
