THESE SAVINGS (AND THIS CREATIVE!) ARE NOTHING TO SNEEZE AT
THE TARGET
Current Ahold customers who are currently suffering through allergy season and are looking for relief for less.
THE CHALLENGE
Seasonal allergies don’t affect everyone, so we had a very specific audience that we wanted to speak to directly. The ask was simple: So many people (and those who shop with Ahold brands) muddle through allergy season every year. How can we grab their attention to alert them to savings that would appeal to them to get through spring?
THE ANSWER
Strong, clear and fun messaging and imagery that would appeal to those who suffer from seasonal allergies, encouraging them to purchase relevant products. We kept content as minimal as possible to allow the visual concept and coupons themselves to really drive home the idea of a one stop shop for all allergy needs.
THE WORK
We created two visually stimulating email that gave consumers multiple opportunities to save. Sitting on a background that alludes to a general allergen most people suffer from, the bold, relevant imagery allows for the coupons to really “pop” while emulating an actual tear off coupon. We also designed the $7 coupon in a way that was striking and clearly visible to anyone that opened the email.
THE RESULTS
We delivered two versions that were well-received by those who suffer from allergies. We provided a very strong subject line that featured the high price point, but also included personalization to make it feel more intimate to the consumer. The View Ad call-to-action was a top 5 click, which demonstrated that users were scrolling through the entire creative to the “catch-all” CTA at the end of the email.
