Greene King manage and lease around 1,900 pubs, restaurants and hotels across the UK which include some very well known brands. But they currently have around 1,300 job vacancies. To meet this recruitment need, our objectives were to enhance the candidate experience and build an understanding of the relationship between the parent company and its brands.
Our solution http://jobs.greeneking.co.uk is a fully responsive website with ease of use at its core. Now candidates can find what they’re looking for in no more than three clicks. This is because the website was built using our proprietary software, TalentBrew, designed to enhance their search for jobs. Candidates simply enter a keyword, usually the job title, and then they can search using filters. There is also a LinkedIn matching tool to help General Managers in their application. There are also profiles from existing employees so candidates can appreciate the reality of working in a particular role.
The site launched on 21 May 2015 and since then the results have been impressive with 79,000 total visits, 54,891 unique visits, 272,030 page views with an average of 3.4 pages per session, 2.0 minute average session duration, 32% of sessions have been non-desktop (ii.e. mobile/tablet), 68% of visitors have been new visitors.
