In Michigan, soda is not soda. It’s pop. And the original pop is Faygo, a century-old brand made in Detroit. Faygo was losing its fizz with millennials. So we contemporized the brand with an ownable, quirky and colorful brand identity known as “The One True Pop.”
When TMV picked up Faygo, the brand website was outdated, not responsive, and lacking in engaging content. We countered this with a bold new design that emphasized the fun, the color and the authenticity of The One True Pop. We leveraged both nostalgia for the brand and a huge amount of new content, from music to games to recipes. A modern, forward-thinking design tied it all together and showed a 110-year-old brand was still fresh, fun, and relevant.
