Thales needs to attract the brightest engineering and business apprentices, interns and graduates across the UK. Their website, therefore, needed to provide a candidate journey that would impress, as well as entice the experts of tomorrow whilst helping them understand the complex business which is Thales.
To help students understanding, we delivered a video that summarises Thales’ projects and business areas in 2 min; for students unsure of where to join, we developed a job matching tool; plus we supported students throughout their journey with real human interaction via WhatsApp and Snapchat.
One of the key pieces of content which really sets this site apart is the interactive video, called the trip, housed under the apprentices section which helps 16-18 year olds find out if a career with Thales might be for them.

The site also housed all information relating to our unique project arduino global competition, (http://www.ukearlycareers.thalesgroup.com/arduino) whilst we also included our study buddy. This online tool included a study clock, health and wellbeing exercises, lateral thinking puzzles, coding quizzes, revision sheets and Spotify playlists.

This investment in student wellbeing rather than just selling the company allowed students and lecturers/careers advisors alike to see the support on offer at Thales.
