We were tasked to create awareness for the Mac’s Froster (an icy, cold slushy drink) by interacting with our 17-year-old target in an entertaining and unique way. This is challenging since we’re going after the elusive millennial. We wanted to reach them when they were out with their friends, in a shareable and exciting way that would get their attention and increase the brand’s cool factor. And for teens that spend every waking moment on their smartphones, there’s nothing cooler than Snapchat. Consequently, Frosterize your face on Snapchat was born. We created a campaign that gave our target the ability to actually turn into select Froster flavours by warping their faces on Snapchat.
