"SWELL Labs recently partnered with Penguin Random House as a means to promote the much-heralded launch of Nightfall, a young adult novel by authors Perter Kujawinski and Jake Halpern. Dubbed by Entertainment Weekly as “Cinematic,” by Mashable as “Fall’s biggest thriller novel,” and by US Weekly as “Creepy,” it was clear that a standard promotional book website wouldn’t do.

Instead, we blew it out leaving no tool in the bag and created one of the most innovative websites the publishing industry had ever seen. Incorporating parallax scroll that was coordinated to the text as a user read and full-screen video, SWELL Labs provided a visual reading experience previously reserved for the cinematic release from Hollywood."
