In 2015, Jeep brand began a new partnership with the World Surf League (WSL) – the globe’s foremost professional surfing organization. Our challenge was to create an experience that represented the pioneering, progressive, innovative spirit shared by both organizations. We wanted to capitalize on the WSL’s popularity as well as indelibly link the freedom they express in their sport with the freedom Jeep drivers experience every day. Our strategy was to represent values shared between the organizations – Exhilaration, Heritage, Pride, Determination and Fun. Users are immediately immersed in the essence of the sport thanks to a series of full-screen videos. As the user scrolls, they learn of the Jeep brand’s deep history with surfing as well as get full details of the Jeep brand sponsorship of the WSL Champions Tour. Full-screen video, a constantly updating leaderboard and a calendar with upcoming and completed tour events with highlight galleries finish the page.
