Sage One online accounting software for small businesses required a customer acquisition campaign. A strong value proposition of Sage One was their pricing model, and since business owners are very price conscious, a campaign focussed on pricing suited well.
To ignite interest and ultimately conversions, Brightlabs executed the "30 cents a day" campaign. To illustrate what one could get for only 30 cents a day, Brightlabs scripted, storyboarded and produced a video to be the hero driver of the campaign.
The motion graphics playfully displayed how one could run their business better for only 30 cents a day. It highlighted what you could normally get for only 30 cents, such as a ‘bite of a muffin’ or ‘a half used pencil’ versus feature-rich online accounting software.
The campaign was launched featuring the video across multiple digital touch-points and channels. It has garnered more than 15,000 views in 3 months, becoming the highest viewed video on the clients YouTube channel achieving and exceeding their customer acquisition goals.
