Intouch Solutions, working in partnership with Biogen’s ALPROLIX brand team, outlined the following strategic objectives in developing the branded ALPROLIX Facebook page: Promote and safeguard the Biogen ALPROLIX brand identity while establishing and building relationships with all key stakeholders, empower patients to share their stories with the goal of activating their peers to request more information from their physicians, and provide disease state education in a social manner, and develop content that can be integrated into a larger social ecosystem and multi-channel brand experience

Additionally, Intouch Solutions engaged in Active Online Listening (AOL) to help uncover marketplace strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and use this information to guide future social media strategy and planning.

The page was one of the first in the pharmaceutical community to allow user commenting to promote authentic user engagement. This along with the development of captivating posts, and a targeted paid media plan, resulted in 10,000 fans within a few months of launch.

The Facebook page launched in Q4 of 2014.
