Miles, in partnership with the Georgia Department of Economic Development and Atlanta Magazine, developed a monthly email blast to deploy to the Atlanta Magazine subscriber base. The email deployments were negotiated as added value from a larger sponsorship and quickly became the leader of the pack for performance. Keeping our primary goal of SIT (signal of intent to travel) conversions in mind, the messaging highlighted “Order Your Free Travel Guide” as the call to action. From this one deployment, we received 189 conversions, 34% of the total conversions for the month. While we did see great results from the other monthly blasts, this one stands out in the alignment between the CTA and the resulting performance – ask and you shall receive!
