As health care experiences one of the biggest shifts in history, hospital and health system executives are being forced to rethink and redevelop how they will operate to manage revenue shifts, stay competitive, and better serve a growing patient population. As they shift, they must find ways to optimize their revenue, implement a performance-based care delivery model, and continue to monitor and manage the quality of their outcomes. Many hospitals will take 3-5 years to complete this health care journey, going through multiple phases, steps and risk levels to reach a new format that better fits the ever-evolving world of healthcare. Optum’s unique provider journey infographic, maps out this transition at both the organizational and executive level. This graphic has now been brought to life through an interactive website that allows a deeper and more relevant experience. Through the website, the Optum sales team can take each health care executive through a guided dialogue that helps them pinpoint where they fall on the pathway, provides them with key information related to the stage they are in, and supports their effort to make more informed decisions as they navigate future changes and continue to progress forward. The website features clean scrolling navigation to move seamlessly through the journey, which includes phase and step definitions, Optum POVs, industry statistics, valuable questions to help guide the conversation, and gated downloadable content to capture customer information. The tool was recently launched at the Optum Global Growth Conference.
