Taiho Oncology, Inc., a separate US division of Japanese company Taiho Pharmaceutical Co. LTD, focuses on the development and commercialization of oral oncolytic products. Although Taiho currently doesn’t have any products in market in the US; we were tasked with creating a best-in-class corporate website to begin to establish, shape, and define their presence in the US prior to the anticipated approval of its lead compound, TAS-102.

The site aimed to portray trustworthiness and credibility across multiple primary stakeholders, including HCPs, job seekers, patients and caregivers; and secondarily, media and investors.

One of the key features of the site is the interactive drug development pipeline, which allows users to sort and filter information based on their specific needs. Another key feature of the site is the Careers page, which features ‘Faces of Taiho’ video profiles of current employees, which was designed to convey Taiho’s unique culture and to attract high-quality candidates who will help support the company’s rapid growth.

Due to Taiho’s rapid growth and commercialization, we embedded a scalable content management (CMS) system with the flexibility to affordably update the site’s content in real time.

Taiho was so excited about the new site that it designed its entire trade show booth around the website branding and experience at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) annual meeting shortly after launch. The booth featured large flat screen displays, which allowed Taiho reps to detail directly from the site without the need for additional marketing materials.
