The campaign centered on a content-rich hub, www.LibbysPumpkin.com, that included dozens of non-traditional pumpkin recipes, tips for using pumpkin to make favorite recipes a little healthier, little- known pumpkin facts, and plenty of entertaining witticisms that pitted pumpkin against other (lesser) superfoods. All content was designed for easy pinning, tweeting and sharing on Facebook. To encourage people to give pumpkin serious consideration during April, May, June and July, we created a sweepstakes. Consumers were rewarded with an entry for pinning or tweeting their favorite pumpkin idea with the hashtag #pumpkincan, or for Liking it on Facebook.
