Switzerland Tourism needed to reach ski and travel enthusiasts to promote ski vacations. They discovered SnoCountry.com as a key website to reach this target audience. Working with the website’s direct sales team, they decided to include Liqwid Ads, a new and super-premium, high-impact ad unit in their “Pure White” campaign on SnoCountry.com. They knew that they would base their digital creative off of their print design; so, the opportunity to create a magazine-quality ad for the internet with the same assets that they used for their print ad was intriguing.
The Liqwid digital studio transformed the creative elements into a dynamic and interactive Liqwid Ad that includes links to five brand touch-points: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, the advertiser homepage and their newsletter sign-up form. Each element within the ad repositions or reconfigures itself within the viewable space on the viewer’s screen so that 100% of the creative is in view on every rendered impression.
By utilizing the Liqwid Ad unit to reach ski and travel enthusiasts on SnoCountry.com, Switzerland Tourism delivered 100% (2x higher than the industry standard) of the ad creative every time the ad was delivered on a viewer’s screen. Since the campaign launch the ad has been in delivered to 24,000 unique viewing devices with click rates (clicks divided by viewable impression) and direct response rates (clicks divided by unique viewers) between three and five times higher than industry standards, depending on the location of the audience, time of day and day of the week.
