Best Automobile Online Video

0-60 mph is the most time-honored performance benchmark in automotive advertising. So, when the social app Vine emerged in early 2013 allowing people to share quick, six second clips, we saw an opportunity for Hyundai’s high performance Genesis: Zero to sixty in less than a Vine. We utilized the built-in constraints of a new medium to convey an age-old automotive message. Fifteen Vines. Each, six straight seconds of playful brand improv, making Hyundai the first automaker to tell this 0-60 performance story on the new social platform. For just a few thousand dollars, we captured the attention of people and media outlets around the world. In the end, Hyundai turned one of the oldest automotive advertising claims into six seconds of freshness.
