Thinking About Insulin is a microsite designed for people with type 2 diabetes who want to learn more about their disease and viable treatment options for it. The microsite is an interactive resource that: helps this population manage the psychological and emotional impact of the disease, educates them about diabetes and insulin, helps them build health routines and goals, teaches them how to improve their doctor's visits, and assists them in overcoming anxiety about starting insulin. All eight activities were designed to be fully interactive and are based on the latest in health psychology research and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques.
