Every holiday season, Hasbro teams up with Cartoon Network to bring kids the ultimate toy giveaway to get them amped up for holiday. Through a dynamic on-air and online promotion, Hasbro and Cartoon Network engage a large audience of through with the ultimate toy sweepstakes, just as holiday wish lists are being written. To target kids and teens, Cartoon Network creates an entertaining promotion for Hasbro each November. Hasbro’s four key holiday retail drivers are highlighted to differentiate them from the other toys shown in the spot. This year Cartoon Network chose to feature talent from one of the network’s live-action hit shows, Dude What Would Happen? By leveraging the popular program, fans were easily able to associate the promotion with the favorite show, which increased visibility of the sweepstakes, interest and entry.
